In plain words

The cowherd girls, waking a friend who knows the Lord but lies forgetful: Have you not heard the king-crows everywhere crying "kīcu kīcu" and chattering to one another, you silly girl? Have you not heard the sound of the curd, as the cowherd women with fragrant, sweet-scented hair swing their arms, setting their necklaces of coins and of buds jingling, and make it sound with their churning rods? O girl, our leader, while we sing of Kēśava, who is Nārāyaṇa come in form, will you lie there and only listen? O radiant one, open the door. Take it up and heed it, girl of ours.
