In plain words

The cowherd girls, to Kṛṣṇa, who will not rise, and to Nappiṉṉai beside him: O you of the broad chest, who climbed onto the soft cotton bed on the cot with legs of ivory, the standing lamps burning, and lie with your chest laid on the breasts of Nappiṉṉai, whose hair is decked with clustering blossoms: open your mouth and speak! And you whose wide eyes are lined with kohl, you will not let your husband rise from sleep for a single moment, see; you cannot bear to be parted from him for even an instant. This is not true to your nature, and it is not fitting. Take it up and heed it, girl of ours.
