Verse 10

अथ ह चक्षुरुद्गीथमुपासाञ्चक्रिरे तद्धा-सुराः पाप्मना विविधुस्तस्मात्तेनोभय प-श्यति दर्शनीय चादर्शनीय च पाप्मनाह्येतद्विद्धम् ॥ ४ ॥

In plain words

Then they chose the eye for their udgitha meditation. The demons pierced it with evil. And so through the eye one sees both what is lovely and what is unlovely, for it is touched by defect.

Now, indeed, they meditated upon the eye as the udgitha. That, indeed, the demons pierced with evil. Therefore one sees by it both what is worth seeing and what is not worth seeing; for this is pierced by evil.
