त ँ ह चिरं वसेत्याज्ञापयांचकार त ँहोवाच यथा मा त्वं गौतमावदो यथेयंन प्राक्त्वत्तः पुरा विद्या ब्राह्मणान्गच्छ-ति तस्मादु सर्वेषु लोकेषु क्षत्रस्यैव प्रशा-सनमभूदिति तस्मै होवाच ॥ ७ ॥
In plain words
After telling him to stay as a student for a long time, the king addressed him: 'O Gautama, speak to me without the pride you showed before. Because this wisdom has never before traveled from your people to the brahmins, instruction in all the worlds has belonged solely to the warrior class.' With these words, the king spoke to him.

Having commanded him, 'Dwell here for a long time,' the king spoke thus to him: 'As you have addressed me, O Gautama, so that this knowledge has not previously gone from you to brahmins, therefore among all worlds the rule belonged to the kshatriya alone.' Thus he spoke to him.
