In plain words

Śauri, in Varāha form, was Satya-gir—truthful in speech—when he did not see the lotus feet; out of compassion, Śiva made him Lord of all worlds. Vidhi, in Haṃsa-Svarūpa, was Mithyā-vāc—false in speech—when he claimed to see the crown; Śiva made him forever unworthy of worship. In that one, Sāmba, the supreme Brahman, may my heart happily delight.

Close to the Sanskrit

At the non-seeing of the lotus feet, Śiva made Śauri, Satya-gir and Varāha-bodied, Lord of all worlds out of compassion; at the claimed seeing of the crown, Śiva made Vidhi, Mithyā-vāc and Haṃsa-Svarūpa, forever unworthy of worship. In that one, Sāmba, the supreme Brahman, may my heart delight with ease.
