In plain words

Betel leaves glossy as the finest ketakī petal; areca nut, sweet and fragrant and full of good things; flakes of camphor catching the light; a dusting of powdered pearl over it all — every kind of sweetness that makes the lotus of your mouth fragrant. The jewelled betel-box is full, Umā, and I have set it down in front of you, just to make you glad.

With betel-vine leaves of lovely hue, with the sheen of the finest ketakī petal; with areca nuts of abundant virtues, fragrant and sweet, bright with flakes of camphor; with many kinds of things resplendent with pearl-powder, perfuming the lotus of your mouth — filled with these, a jewelled betel-casket is placed before you for your delight, O Umā.
