‘ज्ञानं तु केवलं सम्यगपवर्गफलप्रदम् ।तस्माद्भवद्भिर्विमलं ज्ञानं कैवल्यसाधनम् ॥
In plain words
Knowledge alone, and nothing alongside it, when it is right and entire, hands over the fruit of liberation. So the knowledge you must take up is knowledge without a stain: that is the means to kaivalya.
Close to the Sanskrit
But knowledge alone, rightly [held], is the bestower of the fruit that is liberation; therefore by you [is to be pursued] stainless knowledge, the means to kaivalya.
