। ॥ ९० ॥
In plain words
Earth, water, wind, sun, and moon shine only with His light and rest within Him, glowing with a borrowed and feeble glimmer. How could lightning, fire, or a cluster of stars ever illuminate that Supreme Lord? He is the light—peaceful, infinite, the seer, unborn, immortal, eternal, untouched by birth.
Close to the Sanskrit
Earth, water, wind, sun, moon and others, by whose light alone they shine and dwell within, after whose light they feebly shine; how could a mass of lightning, a collection of fire, or a spread of stars illuminate the supreme lord? He is light, peaceful, indeed infinite, the seer, unborn, immortal, eternal, and devoid of birth.
