। ॥ ५८ ॥
In plain words
One sun — the lotus's one friend — breaks open the whole mass of dark that fills earth and sky, and the eye can see it. You burn with the light of ten million suns. Why are you not known? Ah — how much thicker, then, is the dark in me. Take all of it away, Paśupati, and be here before my eyes, and be gracious.
Close to the Sanskrit
One friend of the lotus, having split the orb of darkness that pervades earth and sky, becomes even within range of the eye; you have the radiance of ten million suns — why do you not become knowable? Ah! How much denser must the darkness in me be! Having removed all of that, O Paśupati, be gracious to me directly.
