। ॥ ५९ ॥

In plain words

The swan wants the lotus pond and nothing else. The cātaka bird waits for the dark rain-cloud and will drink from nothing else. The koka wants the sun, the red lotus's beloved; the cakora wants the moon, night after night after night. Paśupati, all-pervading one, Lord of Gaurī — that is how my mind wants the pair of your lotus feet: found only by the path of pure consciousness, and giving the bliss of kaivalya, the aloneness where nothing else remains.

Close to the Sanskrit

As the swan longs wholly for the lotus grove, as the cātaka bird for the dark rain-cloud, the koka for the beloved of the red lotus (the sun), and the cakora for the moon each day — so, O Paśupati, O all-pervading one, O Lord of Gaurī, my mind longs for the pair of your lotus feet, to be sought by the path of consciousness, bestowing the bliss of kaivalya.
