। ॥ ७९ ॥

In plain words

O Shambhu, your feet are accustomed to moving gently across the lotus-petal minds of yogis. How then could they strike and wound the iron-hard chest of Death? My mind aches, remembering how tender your feet truly are. O Lord, bring them before my eyes so that I may soothe them with my own hands.

Close to the Sanskrit

Constantly capable of moving upon the lotus-petal-like minds of yogis is your step, O Shambhu; how then is there the wounding of the hard door-panel of Yama's chest by it? Your pair of feet is extremely soft; alas, my mind thinks of this. Make this within the range of my eyes, O Lord, that I may massage them with my hand.
