। ॥ १३ ॥

In plain words

What is a carriage worth? Money? Horses and elephants? A kingdom, even one already won? What are sons worth, or a wife, friends, herds, this body, this house? All of it is fragile enough to perish in a moment—know that, O mind, and cast it far away now. For the sake of your own Ātma—your Self—heed the word of the Guru, the teacher: worship, worship the Beloved of Śrī Pārvatī.

Close to the Sanskrit

What use is a vehicle, wealth, horses and elephants; what use is a kingdom already obtained? Or sons, wife, friends and cattle; what use are the body and the house? Knowing all this to be fragile in a moment, at once, O mind, it is to be cast far away. For the sake of your own Ātma—your Self—at the word of the Guru—the teacher—worship, worship the Beloved of Śrī Pārvatī.
