। ॥ १४ ॥
In plain words
Let priestly office, night-roaming, village rule, service under orders, or authority over a maṭha, a monastery, never be mine. Nor let false speech, bearing witness, eating another's food, hatred of Brahman, delight in the wicked, or cruelty toward living beings follow me, O Paśupati—the Lord of creatures—through birth after birth.

Priestly office, night-roaming, village headship, appointment under orders, lordship of a maṭha—a monastery—and indeed false speech, testifying as a witness, another's food, hatred of Brahman, delight in wicked people, pitilessness toward living beings—may nothing of this kind be mine, O Paśupati—the Lord of creatures—in birth after birth.
