I know scarcely a particle of the rite of worship, and the things needed to carry it out are farther from me still. So I circle you in pradakṣiṇā and offer the five upacāras, the five services of worship.

In the rite of worship even a particle of knowledge is far from me, and farther still is the collection of objects that could accomplish it. Then, having performed pradakṣiṇā, I offer you worship consisting of the five upacāras.
