In plain words
The golden floor gleams, and strands of pearls lie flashing across it, thrown down without stint; where their light rises and crosses, rainbow after rainbow arches through the great hall built of jewels. There the golden lion-throne stands ready, your companions ringed close around it. Take your seat, Kātyāyanī.
Close to the Sanskrit
In the great jewelled pavilion, in which a host of Indra's bows is formed by the brilliantly streaming lustres of the flashing, unstinted strands of pearls upon the gleaming golden pavement — take your seat, O Kātyāyanī, upon the golden lion-throne set there, encircled by the company of your companions.
