In plain words
They make you forget how far the beauty of fish, of lotuses, of wagtails ever reached. In the mind of the god who burned Kāma to ash, they strike up the flash of Kāma's arrow again. Red with the flush of honey-wine, never still, long as a drawn line — O Goddess, on these two lotus-eyes let this divine kohl be laid, lifted to you on its golden rod.

On the two eye-lotuses — which make one forget the whole expanse of the beauty of fish, lotuses and wagtails; which indeed produce, in the mind of Kāma's foe, the radiance of Kandarpa's arrow; reddened by the intoxication of drinking honey-wine, exceedingly restless, long — O Goddess, let this divine collyrium, made potent upon a golden rod, be applied.
