In plain words
The Mother rises and moves; the whole retinue moves with her; the heaped gold of her creeper-ornaments sweeps forward in a rush. Feet lift high and come down trembling, everywhere at once, and the jewelled hall goes jhaṇ, jhaṇ — bright, high, ringing on every side.
Close to the Sanskrit
When the Mother was moving, when the entire retinue was moving forth, when the mass of golden-creeper ornaments went along swiftly — on all sides, with high, ringing jhaṇ-sounds produced by the impact of feet lifted high and quivering, the jewel-house was set jhaṇ-jhaṇ ringing.
