Verse 145

यस्मात्पूर्वैः कृतं मार्गं महर्षिभिरनुष्ठितम् ।अदुष्टं दूषयसि वै यच्च मूर्ध्न्यस्पृशः पदा ॥

In plain words

The path was cut by the ancients and walked by the great seers. There is no fault in it — and you are the one calling it foul. And you set your foot on their heads.

Close to the Sanskrit

Because the path made by the ancients, practised by the great seers, faultless — that you indeed defile; and because with your foot you touched (them) upon the head.
