The works of Ādi Śaṅkarācārya

Viṣṇusahasranāmastotram

Verse 203

बहूनां जन्मनामन्ते ज्ञानवान्मां प्रपद्यते ।वासुदेवः सर्वमिति स महात्मा सुदुर्लभः ॥

In plain words

At the end of many, many births, the one who knows comes to me: Vāsudeva is everything. Such a person, vast as the Self itself, is found hardly ever.

Close to the Sanskrit

At the end of many births, the one possessing knowledge approaches me — thus: 'Vāsudeva is all' — that great-souled one is exceedingly hard to find.
