The works of Ādi Śaṅkarācārya

Viṣṇusahasranāmastotram

Verse 545

अनन्तरूपोऽनन्तश्रीर्जितमन्युर्भयापहः ।चतुरश्रो गभीरात्मा विदिशो व्यादिशो दिशः ॥ ११३ ॥

In plain words

His forms have no end, his splendour has no end. Anger he has already mastered; fear he lifts away. He is square with everyone, giving each exactly what is due, and his nature runs deeper than any sounding. He is the space between the directions, the one who assigns each power its office, and the directions themselves.

Close to the Sanskrit

Of endless forms, of endless splendour, one whose wrath is conquered, remover of fear; four-cornered, of unfathomable nature, the intermediate quarters, the assigner of commands, the directions.
