। ॥ १०२ ॥

In plain words

This subtle body is simply the tool the conscious Self uses to act in the world - the way an axe and its other tools serve a carpenter. And precisely because it is only a tool, the Self itself remains untouched, unattached, free.

Close to the Sanskrit

This liṅga [subtle body] is the instrument of all activity for the conscious Self, like the axe and so on for the carpenter; by that very [reason], this Self remains unattached.
