। ॥ ३१८ ॥
In plain words
Let action cease, and thought quiets down with it; when thought quiets, the tendency itself withers away. And when that tendency is gone completely - that is liberation, called jīvanmukti: freedom, right here, while still alive.

When action ceases, there follows the cessation of thought; from that, the decline of vāsanā [follows]. The complete decline of vāsanā is liberation; that is called jīvanmukti.
