In plain words
These four mothers stand like four pillars of the mansion that is Bhārata. These very four we call by the names Satya, Dharma, Śānti and Prema. With Satya we must protect the world. With Dharma we must have our Vedas restored. With Śānti we must protect our Mother Cow. With Prema we must love the mother who gave us our body. Through these four we must make our humanness, which is divinity, fruitful. Satyaṃnāsti parodharmaḥ. Our Bhārata has kept Satya and Dharma as Her chief eyes and has gone on protecting the children of Bharata. Only while these eyes are there is it possible to protect Her children, the Bhāratīyas, and the Mother Herself; but when we set about putting out the Mother's eyes in one way or another, our own welfare too falls into distress. Not only must we spread this form, human Dharma, with effort, by preaching and teaching; we must make it grow in Bhārata in practice. Seeing the poor and lowly in the world, or seeing the grieving, seeing the helpless, and seeing those who have fallen into hardship besides, we must stand ready to help them as far as our strength goes, in a way that suits them, to their satisfaction and joy. Why? Because all, every one of them, are brothers in humanity, because they are children of one mother, because the Mother of the world, the divine Mother, is one alone, we must stand ready to develop this sacred brotherhood. But today, entering the path opposed to this, man is setting about turning, through wealth, into nothing but a demon.
This very thing Vēmana too
When wealth increases, pride increases; when pride increases, vice grows without cease; when wealth wanes, pride wanes; when pride wanes, vice gives way, Vēmā!
