In plain words
As a lamp set in every house fills the whole bazaar with lights, so in every home a young man filled with such sacred feelings must be born. Our education, all of it, is not for the sake of jobs. Today people are giving in to bondage to authority and bondage of the mind. This servitude must be removed. Courage and daring must be built up. We must not take the path of bowing our heads to anything but divinity alone. Everyone is to be respected! Everyone is to be loved! Due gratitude must be given to elders. But life is to be offered to the country and to God alone! It is because the strength of karma and the strength of God have declined today that demonic strength has grown and is dancing in frenzy. One must stand on one’s own strength. One must stand on one’s own feet. One must turn one’s cast of mind into the principle of God. We must move from oneness into the principle of the whole. We must not take even a single step from oneness towards manyness. We must set ourselves to see the oneness in the manyness that appears outside. That is Unity in Diversity. There is one basis for all of these. All the living beings that dwell in this world have one basis. Subjects may differ, doctrines may differ, individuals may differ, actions may differ. But the principle of the Ātma, the basis of them all, is one. I have said this many times.
Stars are many but sky is one Jewels are many but gold is one Nations are many but earth is one Beings are many but breath is one
In this way we must try to see the oneness that is in manyness. That is the chief effort the young must make today.
Give no room at all to differences of caste and religion
We must give no room at all to religion or caste or any other kind of difference. Among the followers of any religion, its preachers, its prophets or any founder of a religion, there is no one so foolish as to deny Satya, Dharma and sacrifice, or patience and good character.
