In plain words

Ornaments are only a matter of shape; in them too there is nothing but gold. Divinity pervades everywhere. It is there in the form of the atom. That is why the Śrutis proclaim ‘Aṇoraṇīyān mahato mahīyān’: God is in the atom as the atom, and in the vast as the vast. It is not possible for anyone to recognise God. We must enquire into this principle of the atom. Scientists too have come to recognise this atom. There is no substance at all without the atom. The atom is everywhere. The whole world is made of atoms! If we recognise such a principle of the atom, there is no further need to recognise divinity. In those days, all the Gopīs, whose hearts were supremely pure,

Can we find You, Kṛṣṇa? Can we find You? Subtler in form than the atom, mightier far than the vast, among the eighty-four lakh kinds of living beings You stay for ever, never leaving them, they say; from a grain of atom-dust to a blade of grass and a stick of wood, You shine forth in undivided form, they say. (Can we…) Of all the great thieves, You are the master thief: can we find You, Kṛṣṇa?

So they praised Him. In all the eighty-four lakh kinds of living beings He is there in the form of the atom, and He is spoken of under the name Dharma. There is no place without God. There is no room at all to say, ‘This is not God.’ To say so is merely one's own delusion, not a true word. What is everywhere is God alone; there is nothing other. With such faith, man today must take part in good deeds and dedicate his life to right conduct. Our resolves must be pure. Our words must prove to be right words.
