Bhārata has gone on offering that very thing as lokasamastā sukhino bhavantu. Everyone must be happy. All countries must be happy.
We must develop Prema for God. There is nothing greater than this. If there is Prema alone, we can then achieve everything. What is the reason? Prema alone is in everyone. Prema alone is reflected in everyone. When we recognise this true principle, we become people who have recognised humanness. Otherwise we are not even people who have recognised humanness. I have said that a human being is one who has faith. Today in whatever man you look, there is no faith. Without faith, what is the use of doing anything? We must develop faith.
Without the two eyes called faith men on earth have become blind.
Without these eyes called faith we are blind. Well then, do you at least trust yourself? If you do not trust yourself, you do not trust God. That is why faith in yourself. faith in God this is the secret of greatness. It is enough if you have faith in yourself. If you yourself do not trust yourself, whom else can you trust?
Present-day education has sunk to this low state. None of these is education at all. What is the reason? We take that which teaches knowledge to be learning. But knowledge is tearing the world to pieces. Learning must develop Viveka and discernment. What use is learning without discernment and knowledge?
Even those who have studied for MAs and BAs, even elders who have won fame, even those who, having wealth, are given to good charity and are the virtuous who have won renown on earth, even those who have long life and health constantly and are full of strength, even those who do japa and tapas all the time and are Brahmins who teach the Vedas, are no match at any time for the devotees. Without Bhakti to God, Mukti does not come. What more than this can I make known, students who are good, virtuous and refined!
