Passage 16

Tap any word for its meaning.

In plain words

Sing a song, Kṛṣṇa, so that Your words drip honey; speak, Mukunda, till the heart is content; drawing out the whole essence of the Vedas, turning it into the form of sound, pouring it back through the flute, turning it into the form of song, sing a song, Kṛṣṇa, so that Your words drip honey.

Within this flute music all the milk of that cow was drawn out and moved to and fro, and so this itself turned into the form of song. So when the name of God arises from our heart, it turns into the very sound of the flute. The sound that arises from this heart is very great. It is melodious. We must cultivate such a sacred principle of Prema today. We must make our life worthwhile through this Prema alone. You need no other path. Prema, Prema, Prema. One must love everyone. My life is my message. I love everyone. I love even those who do wrong. I love even the one who bears hatred towards me. I have hatred for no one. Faith is the root cause of this Prema. I hate no one. That is why the whole world loves me. Faith itself is the root cause of this Prema. The root cause of that faith is the divine path of Satya. The root cause of this path of Satya is divinity. This divinity, entering this path of Satya, regards the world as one through faith. Everyone must cultivate brotherhood. Only then does divinity begin in humanness. Only then does humanness shine. You become a man who is an example to all. You were born a man. Having been born, what is the work we do? Be an example to all. You must become an ideal man.

Embodiments of Prema! Not everyone can understand my principle of Prema. That Prema is the true positive. You too, cultivate that Prema. You will surely become positive. That is why I sometimes say, “Embodiments of the divine Ātma!”
