In plain words

Students!

Prema is the very breath of life. Nothing in the world is found that surpasses Prema. No other thing is seen that is not Prema. “Let your mother be God to you, let your father be God to you, let your teacher be God to you, let your guest be God to you”: so, first of all, before everything else, it is the mother, the divine one, who showers Prema. To students who teach and spread in our institutions and our schools that Prema alone is what matters most, I need not say anything again. Prema is like moonlight. It brings coolness to the heart. Prema showers a delightful sweetness. Prema in words, Prema in looks, Prema in duty. With Prema standing as the breath of life in everything, you must go on living your life by that Prema alone. A life without Prema is nothing but darkness. It is useless.

So what I give you is Prema alone. What you give Me back is only Prema. Nothing else equals Prema. Prema is God, God is Prema. How are you to experience such Prema? Life is a life empty of Prema. To change such a life empty of Prema into a life filled with Prema: this is the true way of education. What is education? You think it is mere cleverness. True education is to complete your duty with intelligence, reach the goal, choose Prema, and so carry your life across.

The Gopikās of that age entered many fields of work and, from the time they rose at dawn until they lay down at night, made their time worthwhile through Prema alone.

In deserts empty of Prema, for the shoots of Prema to grow, with the fervour of Prema, a rain of Prema’s nectar to pour down, the rivers of Prema to flow, make the music of Your flute! Kṛṣṇa! Make Your music...

So all the Gopikās sang. Kṛṣṇa! What is there greater than Your Prema? That is why Rādhā too said:

Sing a song, Kṛṣṇa! so that Your words drip honey, so that Your words drip honey; speak, Mukunda, till my heart is content! Draw out the whole essence of the Vedas, turn it into Nādabrahman, pour it back into Prema, and make the principle of Prema grow! Sing a song, Kṛṣṇa! so that Your words drip honey, so that Your words drip honey....
