In plain words
The gift of God is Śānti. The gift of God is Satya. All these are gifts of God. The rest are only clouds drifting by in between!
No mother, no father, no kinsman, no brother; no wealth, no home: therefore beware, beware.
Who is mother, who is child, who is father? All these are relations of the body alone! Many fools think they have come from their mother. Not from mother, through mother. All come through mother, but in truth from GOD. We must recognise this truth well. All are children of God! Brotherhood of man and fatherhood of God. In course of time the two become one. In Father property, the right comes to son. We must keep fighting for that right. That is man's chief sādhana. We must set about going near God. That alone is sādhana.
God alone is the true Friend
Sādhana does not mean merely doing japa; it is not sitting in dhyāna. They think they are doing dhyāna. Who is doing dhyāna? You are separate, and God is separate. If you are remembering the Name of God, it means you think of yourself as separate and God as separate! This is fostering difference. We must not have this difference. There must be no attachment either. We must think, ‘God dwells in my heart.’ Where is God? If the feeling of God is not in your heart, it is not a heart; it is a stone. Hṛt daya; that which has daya is the hṛdaya. Without daya, it is a stone. Today we must develop compassion. That is Jesus's principle of Prema. Prema. Love is GOD, Live in LOVE. So:
Start the day with love, Fill the day with love, Spend the day with love, End the day with love, This is the way to GOD.
