In plain words
‘In the same way I will see for myself,’ he said. But today
Without the two eyes of trust men on this earth have gone blind; if they do not see Him, is God not there? He may not be there for such a one, but is He not there for us!
They live as the blind, without the very eyes called trust. When there is no trust, what use is it however much faith you have? Trust. Faith: the two are one and the same! There is faith in God. But there is no trust in the word! That is why for them, for that family, from that day until today, all the problems in their family have been resolved moment by moment. That God takes on a human form in the world and comes down again and again for the protection of the world and the establishing of Dharma.. Dharma is not something that wanes. If it wanes, it is not Dharma. Now, ‘paritrāṇāya sādhūnām’: for the protection of the sādhu; but ‘sādhu’ does not mean those who wear the garb of a sādhu. In every single heart there is a quality called sādhutva. Merely putting on ochre robes does not make Bhakti a gooseberry in the palm of the hand!
He Alone Whose Words and Deeds Agree Is the Good Man
The merit of taking up the Gītā and shouting it aloud will not be found in your house. He in whom the words he speaks and the deeds he does agree becomes a sādhu. That is why, for man, the oneness of the three, resolve, word and deed, is itself true sādhutva. That is true Dharma.
The proper study of mankind is man. What is this monkey mind? Thoughts, words, action: Education in Human Values, they said. EHV, they said. But this is not EHV, it is 3HV!
