In plain words
Śaṅkara went up to him: ‘Sir, what is it you are reciting?’ Pāṇini's grammar. Through this grammar I will prosper greatly in life. ‘What happiness will this grammar give you?’ he asked. I will be a great scholar at the courts of great kings. Because I am a scholar, the king will give me all the money I need. With it I will enjoy the happiness of a family. How long will you enjoy it? As long as life lasts you will enjoy it like that; after that, what will you do? He gave no answer. You fool! This life is momentary. And this is what you are toiling for.
Worship Govinda, worship Govinda, worship Govinda, O foolish mind! When the appointed time draws near, ‘ḍukṛñ karaṇe’ will not save you, no, never.

In this Kali age there is no easier path than contemplating the Name of God. It is enough to do nāmasmaraṇa with Prema even once.
This Body Is for the Good of Others
When I go to Muddenahalli and Alike, it is a great joy just to hear how joyfully they do nāmasmaraṇa. It is here too. I am not saying it is less here. But as children grow and grow, their hopes too keep growing. Because the children are small, they have few desires. There it is less luggage more comfort. Here it is more luggage less comfort. You must cut this down. The more luggage you cut down, the more Ānanda you will experience. What is a kerchief made of? It is made of cotton. Toss this kerchief up, and it falls down. What is the reason? It is heavy. Because it is heavy, it falls down. If this same thing were loose cotton, blow on it and it goes up.
