I am searching; I go on searching still; I searched then and I search now for the true man who holds to Dharma. There is no shortage of men: there are four hundred crores of them; I have seen the forms of men, but I could not find the true form. Like seeing the pods of the silk-cotton tree and mistaking them for mangoes, like seeing wild cane and chewing it, taking it for sugarcane, like seeing the look of shining pebbles and mistaking them for sugar candy: do not be deceived by form; character is the true form of man.
