In plain words
Earth, waters, fire, wind, sky, the sun that rules the day, the cool-rayed moon, and the person — this entire eightfold form, made of the moving and unmoving, appears as his alone. For those who reflect, nothing at all exists apart from that supreme, all-pervading One. To him, the revered form of the Guru, this bow — to Śrī Dakṣiṇāmūrti.
Close to the Sanskrit
Earth, waters, fire, wind, sky, the lord of day, the cool-rayed one, and the person — thus shines forth this eightfold form, consisting of the moving and the unmoving, of him alone; apart from whom, the supreme all-pervading one, nothing else whatsoever is found by those who investigate — to him, to the revered form of the Guru, this bow, to Śrī Dakṣiṇāmūrti.
