In plain words
Śrīdhara is full of Prema; Prema is His divine form; Prema is the saving mantra for the joy of all men; such Prema if you cannot set forth even a little, how in this world can you behold the good thing you long for, O man!
If what is on the plate is to reach the stomach, we must set the mouth and the hand to work, must we not! That Prema is right in your presence. That Prema is there as your treasure. It is right near you. But you are not making the effort fit to experience it. Put it on the plate and say potato, chapātī as many times as you like: will the stomach be filled? Take it with the hand, put it in the mouth, send it down the throat and swallow. Then the Vaiśvānara within you supplies it everywhere and provides every power.
God is wholly Prema!
Divine Prema is all around us. But we must experience it with the hand. What does experiencing it with the hand mean? We must do bhajan, saying Rāma, Kṛṣṇa, Govinda. With the mouth we must sing saṅkīrtana. If you truly want God, be ever remembering, like Prahlāda, ‘Oṃ namo Nārāyaṇa.’ Keep on praying to God without a break, like Rādhā and Mīrā! Like Rāmakṛṣṇa, sob and sob without a break for the darśan of God. Only then does God appear before you. Today people shed tears over petty, trifling matters, but they do not shed tears for the grace of God. How do these tears come to you? Tears are of two kinds. Tears of Ānanda are one; tears of grief are the second. These tears of Ānanda alone are what must be offered to God. Rukmiṇī went there to weigh Kṛṣṇa, and thought that for Kṛṣṇa's Name the right weight is Kṛṣṇa's form itself, and for Kṛṣṇa's form, Kṛṣṇa's Name itself.
A leaf, a flower, a fruit, or water: that You yield to one who has Bhakti, if that is true, O Kṛṣṇa! may You weigh no more than this tulasī leaf!
