In plain words

In the universe the Lord shines forth; in the Lord the universe shines; the bond of the universe and the Lord cannot be broken: listen, O valiant son of Bhārata!

Embodiments of Prema! From time without beginning, Bhārata has shown forth boundless goodness and nobility of character. The people of Bhārata have lived close, harmonious and exemplary lives; they made progress on the spiritual path. Bhārata is the home where spirituality, the wealth of character and charity were born; it is the home that peace and prosperity married into. In proclaiming the principle of Satya, no other country equals Bhārata. This is the sacred land Śrī Rāma ruled, the holy land where Śrī Kṛṣṇa taught the Gītā. In this very land Vyāsa divided the Vedas and spread their teaching. In this very land, too, Vālmīki wrote the Rāmāyaṇa and spread Satya and Dharma. Born in so sacred a land, and called people of Bhārata, you must study the culture of Bhārata, develop it, worship it, and go on offering it to the world. The wind that blows in Bhārata is filled with Satya; the dust that rises underfoot is of the nature of Dharma. The Gaṅgā that flows in Bhārata is a river of Prema. Through the greatness of the people of Bhārata, even the earth they touched has been turning into gems. The people of Bhārata are forgiving at heart. Bhārata is the home of Satya, Dharma, Śānti, Prema and Ahiṃsā.
