In plain words
When you are born from the mother's womb, no necklaces at all are to be seen; of strings of fine pearls there is not even a trace; there is no chain of pure gold at the neck; there are no garlands of gems to shine; no emeralds or rubies are set; there are no diamond necklaces to glitter; no hessonite stones come with you. There is, there is one garland at your throat, strung with the karmas of former births: however many you did, sorting through them all, one by one, good or bad, without breaking off a single one, Brahmā hands you the heavy garland and sends you forth, the necklace that gathers in all the karmas.
Embodiments of Prema! We must recognise the Satya that every human being, at the time he is born from the mother's womb, comes wearing a necklace that gathers in all his karmas. So, before doing any action at all: is this good? Is it bad? We must inquire into this.
