While the Vaiṣṇavas keep saying Viṣṇu alone is great, while the Śaivas say Śambhu is great, while the Gāṇapatyas declare Gaṇapati is great, while the learned say Śāradā is great, while those Muslims say Allāh is the mighty one, while all the Śāktas say it is Śakti, while My devotees say that I am great, while some say that all are one: in accord with every faith, that the true Brahman is one alone: this you must declare. What else, other than this, shall I make known, O members of this assembly, counted among the good and virtuous!
