Poem 405

వెఱువక కుంభజాతి కురువీరులపై మృగరాజువోలెనేనుఱుకుచునుండ ఖండనికరోన్నత దివ్యమహాస్త్రపంక్తి నింబఱుపుచు గెల్చి రమ్ము సుత భద్రము నీకగునంచు పల్కకీతెఱగున పోకుపోకుమని తీవ్రతనాపుట నీకు పాడియా!

In plain words

Unafraid, upon Kumbhaja and the Kuru heroes, like the king of beasts, as I rush on: ‘The towering ranks of shattering divine great weapons loosing far and wide, win and come back, son; good will be yours’: instead of saying so, in this way to say, ‘Do not go, do not go,’ and hold back my fire: is that right for you?
