In plain words
See! Many experienced people took a great deal of time and taught you very well. They do not have even a single minute of time in the day. Such people came with love and taught you. You must hold it firm and keep it safe. In the Bhagavad Gītā it was said, 'yōgakṣēmaṃ vahāmyaham'. What does yōga mean? Gaining through others the things we do not know is yōga. Keeping safe what has been gained is kṣēma. Yōgakṣēma means: you must gain what … you do not know, and you must keep safe what you have gained. Only then do we win victory in everything. If that faith is there, all is victory. At the very start of the Bhagavad Gītā, Dhṛtarāṣṭra asked. 'O Sañjaya, who will have victory?' he said. Sañjaya had already told him.
yatra yōgēśvaraḥ kṛṣṇō yatra pārthō dhanurdharaḥ tatra śrīrvijayō bhūtirdhruvā natirnatirmama.
'Where there is faith in God, there itself is victory,' he said. All the Pāṇḍavas: God first, world next, I last. This is how they set it. First Kṛṣṇa. Second, duty. Third, individuality. That is why they went on following Kṛṣṇa alone, always. The Kauravas were not like that. Last I, next world, last God. So they lost everything. No, no. For us, first God. That itself is self-confidence. Confidence in you and faith in God. Without this very trust we can achieve nothing. You came to Madras. If you had no trust that we would reach Praśānti Nilayam safely from Madras, you could not have come to Madras at all. If you had no trust that you would go to the market, take vegetables and come back home, you could not go to the market at all. From the small thing to the great, for us it is trust, trust. Without that trust we can achieve nothing. So all of you must hold a deep trust and enter it with the trust, 'We will surely make this factory, this industry, succeed; we will look after it in the right way.' Through that trust, through that Prema, through that faith, you can win complete victory.
Students! There is nothing you need give Swami. If you give the world an ideal life, that itself is Swami's joy.
