Passage 1

Tap any word for its meaning.

In plain words

No one brings wealth out of his mother's womb; on the day he departs, it does not go with him. Even a man of lakhs eats only rice with salt; he does not swallow shining gold. He earns wealth only to strut in pride; the money he hoards does not keep him company. He hides it snugly, buried in the ground, with no charity, no giving, hoarding and hoarding; in the end, will they give it to thieves, or will it go to the rulers? Wealth is not a thing you can call your own. Look into it: the Ātma alone is eternal. What more than this can I make known?

Embodiments of Prema!

From ancient times, in this sacred land of Bhārata, people regarded the mother as God, worshipped her and rejoiced in her. At the time of Vedic recitation they say, “Revere your mother as God, your father as God, your teacher as God.” Your mother herself is God, your father himself is God, your teacher himself is God. God for what? God for the life of this world. For the human body: revere your mother as God, your father as God, your teacher as God. But for life itself, God alone is everything.

You alone are mother and father, You alone are kinsman and friend; You alone are learning and wealth, You alone are my all, O God of gods.

For this spiritual life, this is the truth. But the mother and father of this world dwell in the house.
