The Name of Hari, the Name of Hari, the Name of Hari alone; in Kali there is no other way, none, none at all.
By remembering the Name we can accomplish any deed, however great. Whatever work we are doing, wherever we are travelling to, we can remember the Name. To practise japa, tapas, dhyāna and the like, one needs a special place and must keep to set times. But remembering the Name has no rule of time and needs no special place. “Thinking of Hari always, at all times, everywhere”: this we must do.
God forgets no one
Earlier, the representative of the organisation ‘Messengers of Sathya Sai’, in her talk: “Swami! You must never forget us,” she said. To think that God will forget you is merely your ‘imagination’; it is only the ‘reflection’, reaction and resound of your inner feeling. Do not fall prey to such a delusion. God never forgets anyone. Only devotees forget and remember; God does not. God loves all. So make Prema grow, and put bad qualities far from you. But through today's education, bad qualities are growing in children. Sai students are not like that. There are some who take the name of Sai students and turn to deceit, but our students have very pure qualities. In the world today many claim to be Sai devotees for selfish ends and their own gain. Even that is a joy to Swami. Remember the Name; that is enough. Give no room to bad qualities or to reviling. Live with Prema. Regard Prema itself as God.
