Worldly troubles may come today and go tomorrow. We must not lose heart at the sight of them. But prayer wards off any suffering whatever.
‘Without bhajan there is no happiness, no Śānti’
Embodiments of Prema! Remember the Name of God without a break. Only then will protection come to you. Just as the air fills all space, so God pervades you within and without, and everywhere. We must never give up our bond with such a God. First of all, believe in ‘divinity’. ‘Unity’ will arise in you naturally. After that there will be no room at all for ‘enmity’. If you want to become worthy of God's grace, the things you must do are pūjās, vratas ... they are not things like these. You must remember the Name without a break. If you remember ‘O Rāma, O Rāma’ with all your heart, that Name itself will see to it that no trouble or loss of any kind comes near you. “Without bhajan there is no happiness, no Śānti.” If you keep singing bhajans, that will protect you in every way.
By whatever name you call, I answer
Embodiments of Prema! Only because you are so very fortunate have you been able to come here today. Here you are gaining a great fruit. It is not possible for everyone to gain this. Make sure you keep it. Do not forget the truth that wherever you go, God is right with you, right at your side.
“Whether in the forests or in the sky, whether in the town or in the village, whether on a hill or fallen in midstream, for those with no refuge, God alone is the refuge.”
So remember the Name of God without a break.
