In plain words

Time has brought this lot upon us. We have no choice but to leave you and go. Kṛṣṇa Paramātma Himself, who kept protecting us in every way, has left us. So what is strange in our going away! We too are going, following Kṛṣṇa. From the very first we took refuge in Kṛṣṇa alone, and kept following Him alone. Kṛṣṇa looked on us as His friends, looked on us as sons, looked on us as kin. In every way we held that Kṛṣṇa alone was our refuge,’ he said.

Everyone was waiting eagerly to hear what Parīkṣit would say. Parīkṣit, to Dharmarāja: ‘Bowing to your command, I will carry out my duty. Following your ideals, I will uphold your fame. Though I am young in years, by the grace of Kṛṣṇa Paramātma and by your blessings I have the confidence that I can rule the kingdom ably,’ he said boldly. Hearing Parīkṣit's words, Draupadī and Dharmaja were very glad. ‘How bravely this little boy speaks!’ So they marvelled. Seeing Parīkṣit, the Pāṇḍavas too gained courage enough. They taught Parīkṣit many matters of ruling a kingdom. They won Parīkṣit's consent to the coronation.

After that Dharmarāja and Draupadī, turning to all the people: ‘Kṛṣṇa Paramātma has not gone anywhere. He is right with us. He will protect us in every way. You need not worry about anything,’ they said, giving them courage. Worry is a terrible enemy to man.

To be born is a worry; to live on the earth is a worry; family life is a worry; death is a worry; all of childhood is a worry; old age is a worry; to live is a worry; ruin is a worry; all actions are a worry; hardships are a worry; joy is a worry: a strange worry! Bhakti for the Lord, which drives away all worries, take it up, O people, now at last, with your longing brimming over!
