Passage 17

In plain words

When vision is full of Prema, all creation becomes full of Brahman

All our life we spend our time with outward vision alone. We have a torch with us. As long as you shine that torch outside, only the things outside are seen. Turn it inward, and everything is seen. So vision itself is creation; the eye itself is the śāstra. If you ask where all this śāstra came from, it came from our own vision. This creation came from vision itself. So, Embodiments of Prema! Turn your vision into a vision of Prema! They say the whole world is unreal. They say Brahman is Satya. No, no. The world too is Satya. When your vision is full of Prema, all creation becomes full of Brahman. If you set your vision full of hatred, the whole world turns full of worries. How many worries there are in the world! We live under the tree called the world. There are twelve worries on it.

Being born is one worry, living on the earth a worry, worldly life a worry, death a worry, all of childhood a worry, old age a worry, to live is a worry, to come to ruin a worry, every action a worry, hardship a worry, joy itself a worry, a strange worry; Bhakti for Sai, which takes away every worry: take it up even now, O people, to your heart's content! What more than this shall I make known, O assembled ones, esteemed for goodness and virtue!

Embodiments of the divine Ātma! How many discourses you must have entered into! How many discourses you go on listening to. There are great discourses of all kinds. The discourses that are given, the discourses that are heard, none of them are ours.
