Passage 7

Tap any word for its meaning.

In plain words

They too heard about the Rāmāyaṇa with great joy. They hold worship in their palace. Even hard-hearted Communists are turning into devotees, but among our own Indians Bhakti has still not taken hold. Through keeping company with the British for many years, they went on reviling God.

Yet God is bringing about a change of heart in everyone. If you keep praying without a break, He will bring about a change in your mind too. There is one thing you must recognise – within some time... not much time is left now... within a very short time, the whole world will come to one single feeling.

Together, in harmony, let us move about; together, in harmony, let us grow; together, in harmony, let us nurture the wisdom we have come to know; together, in harmony, free of discord, let us live in friendship.

Everyone will come to such a path. This will come about very soon indeed. Individual differences and hatreds will no longer remain in Bhārata. They seem to be there now, but in the days to come such feelings will not be there at all.

Embodiments of Prema! No one can describe God's Prema as being like this or like that. To hate such divine Prema, or to criticise it, is a great sin. So love God, all of you. Burn all the bad qualities in you to ashes in the sacred fire of the yajña. If you keep listening to the sacred story of Rāma, speaking of it and following it, the world will change greatly. Whatever the situation, whatever the hardship, just do not forget the name of Rāma. Keep the name of Rāma always in mind.
