In plain words
Prema is the form of Brahman, it is full of Prema; To join Prema with Prema is the rule. So, holding Prema firmly, Reach Prema, students of Prema.
Students!
God is the embodiment of Prema. ‘Brahma vedaṃ sarvaṃ viśvaṃ’, sarvam viṣṇumayaṃ jagat. The whole world is the very form of God. In the end it is the embodiment of Prema itself. This world. Man, who has become individual and narrow, is unable to recognise this endless, all-pervading principle of Prema and its vastness. Dividing it into three parts, Prema that belongs to the body, Prema that belongs to the mind and Prema that belongs to the Ātma, man tries to experience it. That is precisely why this principle of Prema has been taking shape as tāmasic, rājasic and sāttvic. The unions and separations that happen in the world, and creation, sustenance and dissolution too, all rest on Prema alone. When we recognise the principle of Prema, we have every chance to hold to equanimity in union and separation, in pleasure and sorrow. The śāstras have described tāmasic Prema as the lowest Prema. It is confined only to oneself, to the things that belong to oneself and to the people who belong to oneself. It takes shape as a narrow, selfish Prema. This is the Prema of the body, of the tamo-guṇa. Then the second is a blend of one's own interest and another's. With self-interest and their own advantage in view, to get their tasks done, people pretend to love the wealthy or those in authority, and set about having their tasks accomplished through them. How? They go to those in authority and, to get their own work completed, they put garlands on them, stay humble and submissive before them, show them humility, awe and trust, honour them; through such pretences they go on displaying Prema. This is something all our students understand very well. Until they get a seat, and as long as they study here, the children display their Bhakti and surrender in ever so many ways. Not only they. Their parents are just the same. Once the seat has been given and the studies are over, these students are off who knows where, their parents who knows where, and they are not to be seen at all.
