For Prema we must give even life
Especially among today's students, what is called love is going astray. They put love to a very petty use. They love someone or other, and they hold that love as dear as life. That is not true Prema. Only when you sacrifice selfishness does true Prema stand firm. You long for a love that has no life in it. You must gain a Prema that is full of life.
Brahman is Prema in form, Prema through and through; joining Prema to Prema becomes the discipline; so one who holds Prema in full becomes fit to attain the One without a second.
Prema is a boon granted by God's grace. Is anyone working for the people with the Prema God has given? No one is. Today there is no ‘unity’ at all. Only when there is ‘unity’ does the ‘community’ progress.
Embodiments of Prema! Do not take a worldly meaning for the word Prema and turn Prema to a wrong path. The word Prema is small, but there is infinite essence in it. But you are taking your Prema down a petty road. What is Prema? Whatever is dear to you, you must give to others as well. That is true Prema. It comes from God alone. Prema itself is God. So live in Prema. When it comes to Prema, you must give even life. But today no one comes forward for a Prema that would give up life. For selfish ends they are ready to take life.
Divine Prema alone is true Prema!
Embodiments of Prema! God is the embodiment of Prema. Share this Prema, all of you. Live for the sake of Prema. Do not be proud that you have taken great degrees.
