More than these outer flames, we must purify the inner flame of life and light it as a radiant flame. All the Sathya Sai Organisations must become organisations full of Prema. We must root out personal hatreds. We must put away the differences of race, religion and caste. We must take morality itself as our race. We must believe love itself to be our religion.
The honour of a race stands on morality; a race without morality goes to ruin; a race that has morality is the true race.
So when asked which race, we must say: the race that lives in morality. As for Me, whatever the religion may be, love itself is My religion. Keeping these thoughts in mind, we must develop Bhakti for God. What protects this world in every way is the Bhakti for God alone, and nothing else. No government can protect the world. Only devotees must protect this world. So, keeping the welfare of the country in view and longing for lasting good, we must make nagarasaṅkīrtana grow.
