In plain words
He lives in his own house. Where does the guru live? He lives in the āśrama. But in time houses may change. Āśramas may change. But where does God live? He dwells in the heart. This heart cannot be changed. It is the eternal abode. So we must attain Him who dwells in that heart. He abides for ever. ‘Without guṇas, stainless, eternal, the abode, the form that is ever pure, awakened, free and spotless.’ A child who is born is a baby. At ten years he turns into a boy. At 30 years he grows into a young man. At 75 years he turns into an old man. All these are bodies that undergo change. The mother's body changes. The father's body changes. But God never changes. He is always eternal. And then, the mind is like a mad monkey. Within a single moment it makes some thousands of resolves. Why do you trust such a changing mind? So you must bring this mind under your control. This very thing is what Patañjali said in the Yoga Sūtras: mastery of the mind itself is humanness. We must gain the strength to restrain these senses. The day you have restrained these senses, you yourself become God. You need not search for God somewhere else.
God is not in some other land; God dwells in one's own body; sin is not in some foreign land; it clings to the deeds one does.
This thing called sin comes only with the deeds we do. God is in our heart itself. You need not search anywhere. So all are indeed embodiments of God. You are the embodiment of Love. You are the embodiment of Peace. You are the embodiment of Truth. You are the embodiment of GOD.
