In plain words
Otherwise there would be no truth at all in your word. You called Me ‘Madhurāpurī-sañcārī’, so I, who was near, have to go to Madhurā and come back. If I am to come from there, do I have any helicopter? So I have no plane of any kind to come from there. I am the Dweller in the heart. At whatever moment you remember Me, I am ready. So remember Me right within. Remember Me with the mind; take Me as your own in the heart. This alone is the right answer to your prayer.
So people today follow many kinds of paths, wishing to attain God. But even by all these paths it is not possible to attain God so easily. Which path is truly easy? When you make friends in the heart itself and put a little faith in the words ‘Dweller in the heart, Dweller in the heart’, then God protects. God is not in some particular place.
God is not in some separate country; God dwells in one's own body. Sin is not in some separate foreign land; it clings to the deeds one does.
So God is not in any temple, in any mosque, in anything. God is not in any church, nor in any idea. What is the chariot? It is none other than the chariot of the devotees' hearts. So the one who keeps Him as the Paramātma within a devotee's heart meets no troubles of any kind. But man today: ‘paśyannapi ca na paśyati mūḍho’. He calls only on a God he has placed outside. The God who is outside is reflection, reaction, resound. This reality must be within. Reflection of the inner being. So trust completely in the God who is within your heart.
